I'm pretty torn on this. My head says as the clubs guardian Parish has to make the best choice for the club which is to stay up. He does that by appointing the best man available for the job. However Big Sam should not be anywhere near a football team imo. However I wouldn't be surprised if his actions are synonymous with modern football, theres no doubt this back hand s*** is rife all over the game now. Values like integrity have been sold down the river ages ago, everything is just a long list of short term reactions now. Managers are under threat as soon as they go on a semi poor run and with the money involved now it's not surprising either. Edited by fozzaisere (23 Dec 2016 11.15pm)

This is hilarious. People on here saying Pardew was a brilliant manager, just unlucky. yep. And it was unlucky when the Titanic hit that iceberg when travelling way above the speed recommended by the safety experts.

Also is it just me but is anyone else fed up of us hiring utter bellends as managers. Have not liked any of our managers since Dougie and even he was pretty dour. Holloway - More interested in making stupid jokes than managing the team. Bellend Warnock - Bellend. Tony Pulis - A sneaky class a prick. Pards - Swarmy arrogant bellend. Big Sam - Hmpf Obviously liking the manager comes second to success (which the above period is arguably the most ever in the clubs history) however would be nice to hire someone who wasn't a total t***.
