So he's said he's using this game to give the fringe players a chance to impress, which is a positive thing I think. Speroni starts and he also seemed to give away that Campbell will start alongside Remy. With 11 players out that doesn't leave much else to be figured out!

Possibly, however if they are that unfit it is even more reason not to play them tomorrow and work on their fitness.

the dignified don't even enter in the game

Glad to see Speroni back in and could possibly end up in goal for a few games which with his passion for the club and enthusiasm might instil some in the other players. Hopefully Remy gets off to a good start

Seems that's what he's going to do (a bit of boot camp wouldn't do some of them any harm) and have a look at the rest of them at Bolton. Probably is a sound strategy as some of those chosen will be wanting to impress for a place and the rest will have no excuses come the Hammers game.

Speroni

Ward Kelly Delaney Fryers

Mutch Flamini Puncheon

Townsend Campbell Lee

Decent enough side there in my opinion. Two left footed Championship standard defenders on the left hand side, same with the right. Hopefully our two attacking players who have a decent enough record at Premier League level in Puncheon and Townsend can manufacture us the win.
Yeah I do want us to win. A loss would not provide us with a boost. Remy to come on and score with his first touch please.

He said Puncheon is out injured. Although I have a feeling he may just be tired reading between the lines.

Magnificent achievement by Jules. Four times player of the year, Admin & Sheffield Wednesday, Play offs, Premier league survival. Legend & dignified throughout. Really hope he get's to 400.

Good to see Jules back between the sticks. Unfortunately, a run in the FA Cup this year is very low priority and an early exit would not be unwelcome. However, we should go on to win today's match comfortably.

Bolton are riding high in Div 1 and have won 7 of their last 10 games so this might be far from easy for us. Could be a really challenging game with us playing fringe players.
