The opinion of the Holmesdale Fanatics is their opinion. I don't agree, c'est la difference. They are not official spokesmen for the club, the supporters trust (if they're still around) or fans outside of the Holmesdale fanatics, and their idea of what makes a fan is one of many. They're entitled to it, they can put it on t***ter, or fackbook, doesn't mean its true, real or anything more than just their opinion.

I do agree about the tourists as well. f*** the extra revenue, too many of the daytripping t***s at Palace these days and we need to limit their numbers, not ask for more of them to come! Well you say that, but there were only 14k or so per game when we were a championship team, until we looked like a team that were going to win promotion... Its all well and good banging on about tourists, and the like, but when we were s**t, there were still 11,000 seats. Then in the premiership there was capacity per game (or there abouts). When we're relegated (now or some point in the future) within a season we will be down to 14k or so again. Truth is, we have nearly as many tourists as fans.

Always important to remember what the HF are. They are Palace cheerleaders, and very good at it, and for that I am glad we have them (on the whole). They keep the crowd going, they produce lots of noise, they produce the displays (some are better than others, but I'm sure it's a lot of effort and it makes us a little different from other crowds). However, their opinion on ticketing and the worth of different types of fan are no more important to me (nor should they be to anyone else) than the opinion of Doris from the Palace Crystals, or, for that matter, any other season ticket holding fan in the ground.

Quite right too. Support of Crystal Palace should be limited to a small tightly knit community and anyone who hasn't been to every home and away game for the last 40 years shouldn't be allowed in as they are obviously not real supporters. Incidentally I have always thought that HF stood for Holmesdale F***wits and with their anti Allardyce banners and ridiculous tweets they just confirm my suspicions
