I do agree about the tourists as well. f*** the extra revenue, too many of the daytripping t***s at Palace these days and we need to limit their numbers, not ask for more of them to come!

The club's message was clearly aimed at the genuine Palace supporter, living abroad, who want to attend a game when visiting the UK. The HF have responded to this with a rant about so-called 'tourists', which could easily be construed as offensive by an exiled fan. My personal view is that I have no problem with any neutral who wishes to buy a ticket to see a PL game. At the end of the day their money's as good as anyone else's and I didn't see any complaints about all those extra 'supporters' who emerge from the woodwork every time we get to Wembley. I think that it's more a case of the HF understanding what they're reading. The club's message was clearly aimed at the genuine Palace supporter, living abroad, who want to attend a game when visiting the UK. The HF have responded to this with a rant about so-called 'tourists', which could easily be construed as offensive by an exiled fan. My personal view is that I have no problem with any neutral who wishes to buy a ticket to see a PL game. At the end of the day their money's as good as anyone else's and I didn't see any complaints about all those extra 'supporters' who emerge from the woodwork every time we get to Wembley.

Quite frankly those "real fans" who shout and scream abuse at the players when things go wrong on the pitch,or run on to confront individual players are the ones we wouldn't miss.
If we were to be relegated, next season we would be glad of any "tourists" to help fill the ground, because a lot of our newer fans won't bother to turn up if we are not in the Premier League.
