Indeed, and the more attractive we will be to potential signings.

I am thinking silly thoughts. I am looking up the table hoping all the teams between us and the saints lose... even if it is to Hull and Swansea. Given where we were after Sunderland you would have thought I would be biting off your hand for a safe 16th finish; now I am looking at top half. All pretty unrealistic and bound to lead to disappointment... but... well... come on you swans!

(Obviously this is all predicated on our good form continuing. I did say they were silly thoughts)

The team thoughts have to be about keeping that winning mentality , and proving to the gaffer that their worthy of playing next season.so no Foot off the gas

And more importantly to retaining existing players.

Yup, and that too.

If we win on saturday and Watford beat Swansea then i think we will be safe. Swansea would be left needing 10 points from 5 games and praying that we lose all our remaining 6 games.

Even Palace couldn't muck that up!

We can help ourselves and everyone else by beating Swansea...

Probably means we won't.

Also got Hull away the week after.

Then a nice easy run in with:

Chelsea/Leicester/Everton away

Liverpool/Man C home..

Basically from a Watford point of view 3 points this weekend is a must.

BTW Well done on Monday - showed the sort of play and fight some of our players (and manager) could learn from...

Sadly (for them) the boys will not be going easy on anyone. They have the winning mentality and the smell of victory is in their nostrils!

The Swansea forum doesn't even mention us. It's them or Hull afa Swansea fans are concerned.

We have to beat Hull. My girlfriend is a Swansea supporter and she will never forgive me if we put a weak side out! My summer is going to be horrific if they go down...

If we are safe by then, with a potential higher place finish at stake, why would we rest players? After the Hull game, we have a week before the last game of the season. There's nothing to rest anyone for!

Play hard to the end and see where that leaves us.

We don't do possession; we do defense and attack. Everything else is just wa**ing with a football.

Wasn't each place worth £2m odd. Would be nice to be as close to 10th at the end of the season. Let's get to 37 first though.

Still could see 34 points being enough with our goal difference.

It's so tight in mid table, keep performing and we could end up in the top 10.
