I'm a Hull fan, and if you are getting Silva, you are getting a top coach that is going to the top. Don't be fooled by us getting relegated, or the away form. Our squad wasn't good enough with the poor pre-season.
But he did a little bit of wheeling and dealing in the transfer window, and gave us a chance. He likes his teams to press, with skillful fast wingers. The football was great to watch. If you look at our stats, we had more possession than most of out opponents, even in away games. But we didn't have a striker that could score goals.
We did win quite a few games from him making tactical changes, or substitutions. So tactically he knows what he is doing.
The players, during interviews, said he made sure they knew what their duties, and where they should be positionally. Apparently, dragging Michael Dawson into one position during training.
He is ambitious, so if successful with you, and I think he will be, he will be looking for one of the top jobs in the prem in the next 2 or 3 years.
