We didn't know anything about him when he came in. But he'd only had the squad for a couple of days for training before his first game, and the difference was there.
He took Markovic from Liverpool, and he had failed everywhere he'd been. He was awful in his first game for us.
But he certainly improved as the season went on.
The majority of Hull fans are gutted he's gone.

I think Marco Silver would be a good fit for Palace. He played at right back builds his teams from a solid defensive base and likes counter attacking play.

However as its already been mooted on Hol about backroom staff the first thing he did when joining Hull was to bring in his own coaching team, including assistant João Pedro Sousa, first-team coach Gonçalo Pedro and goalkeeping coach Hugo Oliveira.

Quite where that would leave Sammy Lee, Kevin Keen and Martyn Margetson who knows!

It would be a great shame if they were to leave Palace as they have all done a great job since arriving especially Sammy Lee who has been another inspirational signing!
