Yep. And we didn't say 'muslims' either before the 90's. It was Arabs or P@ki-stanis.

There were far less of them then.

Probably a little over one percent of the population back then and hence far less in the public consciousness.

Everyone has a right to their own opinion but I cannot see how going for all Muslims is anything but counter productive. What are these people hoping to achieve? All I keep hearing is "WAKE UP!", it's as annoying as an alarm clock that you forgot to turn off on your day off work. But OK lets say we all awake to the "truth", what happens next? No one ever seems to have that answer.

Well I've put forward several ideas.

The lack of ideas isn't the problem.

You know that and I know that but we aren't going to wise up any ultra -wingers on here or the impressionable. Only the media moguls, politicians and a different, more honest and precise narrative will. But, as it stands, they choose not to for reasons one can only surmise as suiting whatever agenda it is they are following.

They don't care about a broader truth being advertised that's for sure.

I'm referring to those who see Muslims as enemy number 1. And there seems to be many about these days. The likelihood is tour soltions would be seen as far too light for them.

Other cultures.....don't get me wrong, nothing wrong with people enjoying their own culture within reason....But tell me what exactly was lacking in our culture that required help? I'm curious.

I remember my grandfather his wife and his brother who fought in the war...I was lucky enough to hang around with them until my teens....They didn't appear to me to be suffering from any 'cultural' loss.

Tell me, what exactly were they losing out on? They appeared very happy with their lives as British.

In that case you will also know who they fought beside. My father became very friendly with a German when keeping the peace after the War. We spent much time in Germany as children, more fool us eh? Should have stayed in the UK and enjoyed our own culture which is perfectly sufficient.

The Allies included masses of people from 'The Empire' and I believe Tommy was pretty happy about that.

Why is everyone bending over backwards to make sure every word, every phrase, every response exactly mirrors those made when IS attacks?

Here you have a thread where everybody agrees this was an awful attack which we assume is borne out of racial hatred and is likely to be some kind of revenge but is misplaced. Everyone on here and in the press seems to agree.

But now we have other people making sure that this is given the same coverage as every terror attack on our soil or we're somehow failing the victim.

I don't get it. It's like kids at school moaning that they got a longer detention for doing the same thing as someone else.

What is this obsession with seeking out injustice and trying to police it .... on an Internet football related message board?

I used to love this place when you Kermit and the likes of the Sash would make me laugh out loud. We'd have plenty of sensible discussions but there was always a backdrop of knowing we're a group of Palace fans and we were never going to change the world.

I hate this nit-picking, it does my head in.

This board used to be hilarious. Some really decent and genuinely funny people. Now it's the same tw*ts banging on about the same sh*t regardless of the subject.

I had the decency to answer your question, I think it speaks volumes that you have failed to reply.
