Spot on. I mean Sean scanell done more than Johnny Williams and he left the club 5 years ago.

That's actually bang on the money.

Correct!

If we were still the Glaziers he could shine the windows.

Seriously if we can get him at least half fit then sell him.

Did ok for his country here and there. Let's face it though if he was any good we wouldn't have signed Lee. Lee is not premier league class either.

Trump lost. Badly. Hahahahahahaha.

Promising player who didn't kick on. He needs to be playing first team football in the Championship.

He did ok at Championship level but didn't pull up any trees and that tells you all you need to know. The gulf between the Premiership mid table and Championship mid table is really noticeable.

Loan out and then sell with best wishes for the future.

Not sure how this thread is three pages long. Every single person has said the same thing.

Personally I think he's a neat and tidy little footballer with bags of energy and heart. Had he not suffered from injuries I genuinely think he would have secured a first-team spot. If, and it's a big if, he stays fit and de Boer gives him a chance then I think he could get into the first-team squad as he is a high energy player with a neat first touch which fits with a high-pressure possession based game. Aside from Cabaye he is also one of the few players in the squad capable of picking out a through ball.

I'm not ready to give up on Joniesta yet

Since when? I can't really think of a single example in his time here?

Nice goal for Ipswich, but that's now over three years ago.

He was rather crap for Wales too.

He looked like a weak child in the ball and was pushed off like an air filled mouse.

If you watch old clips of him in action on youtube you'll see he has an eye for a pass, which (if anyone can remember) was what got him the nickname Joniesta in the first place, was it not?
