I think if that's in the dress code then that's valid. If it isn't then it isn't.

Regardless, there should be a difference in expected standards between what a teacher does and what a student does.

I think if you're going back 100 years or so, that's true, maybe even less. Socialist economic approaches are the basis of what is left wing, capitalist based economic approaches define the core basis of something as right wing.

There's a gram of truth in this....Insomuch as I favour a balanced analysis of pretty much anything. I prefer objectivity to subjectivity.
