When allowed to play with freedom our boys smash the opposition. We need a striker and an AM in the summer. Sack ole turkey chops off and let's go for it.

Can't keep playing negatively and expect positive results.

Let's be positive and go for it, thanks and bye bye Roy, top 8 here we come!

You would be suitable to support Brighton, they have just sacked a decent manager and person. They have delusions they are going to move up the league by going in another direction, disposing of the man who got them where they are. His replacement hasn't the world alight at Swansea, no premier experience at all.

How do you come to the conclusion we are negative? Last season, we got our most points ever in the Premier and scored the most goals we have ever scored. You seem to be missing something, as this was all under Roy's guidance.

I don't know him personally so can't comment on whether he's a decent person or not, so will trust you on that as you're clearly a close, personal friend of his.

As for a good manager? 3 wins in the last 23 and relying on Cardiff dropping points says different.

I'd say you're clearly very negative if that's your benchmark of success.

If you want to back up your statement with facts then at least try and get them right. Not counting cup games we have won NINE games out of nineteen since Jan 1st Wolves, Fulham , Leicester , Burnley , Huddersfield Newcastle , Arsenal , Cardiff , Bournemouth . We finished the season fifteen points above Cardiff so hardly relying on them losing.

You must have gone to the Theresa May school of fact twisting.

He was talking about Brighton not Palace, in which case his facts were correct

In that case he should make it clear by quoting the post he is replying to as this is a Roy Hodgson thread not a Brighton one.

He did make it clear by highlighting they have just sacked a decent manager

ME,
do you read every post on a thread before you reply?

The debate between Painter and Chris GC also mentioned Roy Hodgson

i remember you once replying to someone who asked you why, as a Mod, you took no action against a particularly offensive post. Your reply was you don't read every post on every thread which you, and other Mods, should be doing if this forum is to moderated properly.

Still nobody has been unable to explain, how they come to the conclusion that Roy is negative.

After a season, where we got more points than ever before and scored more goals than ever before in the last six seasons in the Premier.

Now now, that's not fair:

I've had three yellow cards for offences varying from a particular mod agreeing I was a c*** to my general tone upsetting several posters (not once have I technically broken the rules). If I can get on with that, it's far too rich for you to imply bias.
