I'm not condoning hunting in any way, but surely these hunt saboteurs would be better of targeting unsanitary slaughterhouses & more pertinently Halal meat providers. Rather than pharmaceutical companies & research centres? They won't of course as it doesn't fit their narrative...

Why would they do that when they are hunt saboteurs, the clue is in the name!

Perhaps they do get involved in protesting against slaughterhouses when there isn't a suspected illegal hunt to protest against?

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

Was this an illegal hunt then, I didn't see that in the Press. I just thought it was a bunch of fixated individuals having a go at people because they are doing something that looks a bit like an older activity that killed foxes.

Why do people hate others who choose to spend their time and money with horses instead of cats? Try going to the hunt up at Farleigh, it's just an energetic sport and not vastly different from all those people running through Lloyd Park every now and then. It's not all 'toffs' - far from it. Some people can't leave them alone because they are very sad individuals.

I assume you are thinking of the 'fox' that is dragged with scent.

In reality wild foxes are a completely different beast to our relatively tame urban fox and not to be trifled with. But I can't see how anyone could agree to chase it in fear of its life and then have it pulled apart by dogs.

Meanwhile the horse could have been in real pain, it probably had a strong bit in and being tugged around by the reins is pretty dodgy.

I wonder if the law would view this differently if the sab had grabbed the lady not her horse, then pulled her around in circles by the arm.

Surely there is some ancient law about not interfering with a lady's horse, probably attracts the death penalty as a minimum.

I think it's illegal to interfere with a lady's ass. Ask Michael Fallon.

I have no idea but the group of Brighton Hunt Saboteurs say they turn up where they suspect illegal hunts are taking place.

I'm not a hunt saboteur but I guess that it isn't people riding on horses that they are against but the ripping up of foxes.

Why don't they inform the police, rather than breaking the law themselves?

The police decide whether someone is doing something legally or illegally, not someone in a balaclava with a couple of mates and a camera.

The simple answer is that the police do not tun out for much these days, burglary -nope,theft -nope,drugs-nope.it is more Dixon of docket green than Dixon of Dock Green sadly.

I doubt it. The individual concerned was endangering himself, the rider and the horse. Probably already did damage to the horse's mouth. She asked him to let go and he refused. If you were in that situation - lets say someone grabbed your dog and swung it around to control you - what would you do? Knowing your dog was screaming with pain.

The whole video shows the woman chasing the saboteur on her horse. Seems he was hanging on to protect himself.
Apparently hunts use people to chase saboteurs so the main hunt can gleefully watch their dogs rip the fox to death without challenge.

Really. How come 3 sets of them turned up when I had a recent break in?

The simple answer is, they didn't call them as they like a bit of law-breaking themselves.

Although I live in a village,(that has a local hunt) I hold no truck with fox hunting.
However they do need culling in some way foxes in the countryside are a pest simple as.
But my main point is if these saboteurs are on private land, then I'm sorry if they get hurt...tough s***.

always a Norwood boy, where ever I live.
