Perhaps if an actual reason as to why Willo thinks Dembele won't sign for us was offered he may not have provoked such a strong response. After all a lot of his opinions tend to be negative when it comes to Palace. Are Willo and Matteo one of the same?

Rodgers' take on Dembele: DEMBELE ‘COMMITTED’ TO CELTIC Brendan Rodgers has stressed Moussa Dembele is "fully committed" to Celtic and the club have no interest in selling the striker. The 21-year-old Frenchman has sat on the bench for the last two matches after Rodgers conceded he had been affected by transfer speculation. Dembele has been linked with Crystal Palace and Brighton but Rodgers moved to dispel the uncertainty surrounding the player. "Moussa has never once asked to leave Celtic," he said. "He is fully committed to Celtic. "We have had one official bid for him that is nowhere near the value of what the value of Moussa is. But equal to that we have no interest in selling him. I really fail to comprehend how my innocent one-liner has caused those to deduce that this was meant to give the impression that I am "In the know". Besides, I have always maintained that being "In the know" doesn't give one any elevated position on a Totem Pole on HOL.As I have asserted many times I am far more self-deprecation than self-promotion and I am not some egotistical figure ever ready to project any air of superiority on here.

At the end of the day I answered all the 'Charges' with my view on why certain decisions were made, that's all. As Clattenburg was brought into the debate perhaps some might find this interesting : Anyway this thread is about Dembele - let's not turn this into a Clattenburg thread.So no more comment from me about Mark on this thread.

As far as I was concerned I was just typing a mere one-liner giving my thoughts on the transfer speculation.
