So, yet another injury today. Aaaaaaaanyone thinking maybe there's some truth to what I'm saying after all?

Notice how whenever we get an injury, it's always long term, never just a little knock. This isn't just "our cursed luck". We have a big problem with how we handle injuries at our club.

Nope, how the challenge on Cabaye that led to today's injury can be blamed on the medical staff is absolutely beyond me.

Some of our injuries are down to bad tackles, no doubt. But some are NOT. We are getting far too serious injuries too often to use that excuse.

Maybe it's not down to the medical team. But I'm seriously struggling to see what else it could be. I'm telling you, SOMETHING has to change, else we'll end up getting the whole squad injured at this rate

No medical team anywhere can prevent a contact injury before it happens and the treatment for serious injuries, beyond physio and fitness, will not be undertaken by our staff, but by private medical facilities, hospitals, etc.

Alternatively you could say the medical team are doing well because no-one expected Ward or Townsend to be fit enough this soon to be in the matchday squad! (Unless that was Roy hinting subtly that we need signings ASAP).

Not at all, as he went down you could see his leg twist a little, Te majority of our injuries are caused by twists and stretching, Can you let me know what injuries you think are caused by the medical team and how please?

I propose a poll. Is the OP:

a) a troll;
b) a complete idiot; or
c) both?

I'll start things rolling: (c).

Why what happened ? Did the cpfc medical team come on the pitch and break Cabayes leg ?

I have no idea whether the medical team have any culpability in relation to our ever growing list of injuries - I suspect not. But it is a sorry state of affairs.

Wickham, Puncheon, Sakho, Dann, Townsend, Schlupp, Ward, Loftus-Cheek, and now possibly Cabaye, all out with medium to long term injuries. That's over a third of the squad!

It does seem plague of the modern game. I am sure in the past - perhaps 10 years ago and before - there was never quite such a catalogue of injuries experienced by teams during the course of a season.
