Innocent until proven guilty. However funny as, surely this is not the "Brighton way"

Although innocent until proven guilty, will Brighton be as honourable as England cricket were/are being (re Stokes) by not selecting him until there is clarity. Answers on a postcard!

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)

Well, I would assume the meaning is that if in any way he colluded with the club in reducing his tax bill through evasion (rather than simply avoidance) let's hope the club wasn't Crystal Palace.

Precisely however I have a feeling it may have something to do with his wife's businesses. nothing to base this on just a hunch, as she has been arrested as well on similar charges.

if true he deserves to get the maximum penatly thrown at him.

i earn an honest wage and if i dodged my taxi would get the book thrown at me.

he & his wife deserve to get the law thrown at them if true

He was arrested on both VAT and income tax issues but she only income tax. I wonder how come he would have a potentially huge VAT bill.

I sincerely hope it isn't true, but the old Life of Brian line may apply, "He's not the Messiah. He's just a naughty little boy." And girl, too.

why would i be a cab driver?

the point is, i go to work i pay my dues.

if anybody is not doing so, they should be penalised to the max penalty, especially if they are earning more than us guys earn in a year in a week & try to play the system.

f*** them...hope he gets hammered

Well done HMRC for FINALLY discovering tax fraud with one player - only a case of now needing to probably tackle just about every other Prem. player; their agents; managers and clubs etc. Tax avoidance and evasion rife within top flight football....

What is your evidence of this?
