You can't harp about the ifs and maybes in football if in the main your club has generally been successful

Man City fans moaning today about letting James Milner go, I mean, really?

Murray came to us as 28 year old who had a few decent season in the lower leagues, he was average the first season and then Zaha and Bolasie set him off. Murray brilliance is in knowing he shouldn't be as good as Wickham and Beneteke, that's where he starts from knowing he hasn't got their power, height or pace so he makes up for it by knowing where he should be by drawing fouls and where the space is. All the perceived wisdom is he should be shot by 32/33 but he is ability is in knowledge of how to play not in his physical attributes. As much as hate to say I love him as a player because he is about thinking how to make the most of himself. Imagine his brain in wickham body

He was great for us but left when he wasn't able to get into the starting 11. At the time, most were amazed that we managed to fleece B'fluff for £4 million for him.

He was shi'te for them and also when he went on loan to Reading and we all hoped that he would continue to be shi'te when he re-signed for Brighton. Unfortunately not.

Brighton didn't expect him to carry on this long and have invested heavily in finding his replacement. Like us, they have failed to find anyone close.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

Not sure Wickham is a good example of a healthy body. By all accounts, his top class career could be on the line. I keep on forgetting he is in the squad. I can't remember what he looks like.

Wickham should be ashamed to collect a wage every week, just fcku off and let us free up some wages for someone who actually wants to play football.

Sorry it was more the point that at 17 Wickham was winning the Golden Player award at the u17 European championship, which has also been won by Kroos, Rooney, Gotze and Fabregas and funnily enough Meyer. Murray wasn't even playing for Workington Reds at 17.

If you were on long term sick would you follow your own advice?

Club made a mistake selling Murray who continues to bang in the goals. Mistakes happen...

and we have made way more than one mistake. Who was the idiot who said Van Djik wasn't good enough for this level when he was at Celtic?

I'm still very jealous when I see Murray scoring goals at this level and wish we still had him at Palace but as much as it was a big mistake letting him go (in hindsight), at the time it was probably too good a deal for a 30+ year old that Bournemouth offered us.

Some decisions pay off and some turn out to be the wrong one.
