Yes the far right can be neo Nazi but they can be many other things. I would for example cast the ruling political party in Israel as to the far right, but clearly not neo Nazi. Equally I see little difference between far left and far right. Two sides of same coin, don't like either.

The main similarity between both is that they are authoritarian. However outside of that, they both pursue opposite agendas. This said, even people who once regarded themselves as centralists get called far right today. Edited by Stirlingsays (30 Aug 2018 12.00pm)

There's a large element of middle and lower middle class snobbery over Tommy Robinson. If Douglas Murray were out on the front and centre lines it would be very different. They would still oppose him but the snobbery wouldn't be class based. Your accent and where you went to school still factor in to a certain kind of person. Interesting to see how our media covered the recent protests/disturbances in Saxony. Saw reports claiming that 'hundreds' of right-wingers had marched when their own video footage showed thousands and although most corrected it later on, it still showed how they seek to deliberately down-play it all. Also the man murdered does not perhaps fit in with their 'Nazi's on the rampage over the murder of one of thier own' narrative they have been pumping out.

Look at say Hitler and Stalin. 2 sides of same coin. Is politics becoming polarised? Lot's of people with limited narrow minded agendas want to do still it down into lowest common denominator simplicity but it is not black and white, it's shades of grey. Also we move towards a time with politics dominated by career politicians whose grasp of the real world is at best fragile. Might put young Stephen/Andrew/Paul/Tommy in this category assuming domestic and racial abuse doesn't count as a job these days.

Also anyone who has the slightest, I mean slightest concern about immigration numbers is deemed right wing. Or anyone who voted brexit is right wing or my favourite if you voted brexit you voted for unicorns [Link] I think the liberal left live in their own bubble I really do!!

I think the 'lowest common denominator' here is perhaps the people who think they know what they are talking about yet just rely on their own prejudices. Try watching Robinson's videos then tell me what he's saying that is wrong specifically.
