Not called anyone thick in my post that I recall? I have mentioned racism. What I do know from a being born here that unfortunately there are a lot of racist people here. And that all of the people I see online banging the drum about this, that I know well from school or old work colleagues or general associates, are racists. They’re the people who haven’t left the country and made friends with other cultures. They’re the people who have their minds made up for them by the media and get caught up in the machine instead of getting away and looking back on things in a non objective or abstract manner. This is fine as racism is a worldwide thing. It exists in all cultures. What is now happening that these people are being called out and instead of owning their racism and saying point blank “yes I am racist”. They are still denying it whilst displaying more and more racist propaganda on Facebook and the likes and getting more on their haunches about racist matters with each passing day.
Not all racists are thick. Which is the scariest part of this whole divide. Their are some very clever bigots out there who draw the uneducated into their beliefs with lies and scaremongering. Much like Hitler did. For example, a line I see written or hear a lot is “my grandfather stood up to fascism for nothing!” In reference to Hitler and the world wars. Yet they’re employing almost identical tactics to the fuher, to give rise to their ideology and beliefs. And it's the simple lot that can’t see that and carry on, or worse, they do realise it and side with it.
This whole thing stinks of double standards and hypocrisy. That can’t be denied by the people trying to defend Tommy. To me it is Tommy Robinson using a very hearts and minds tactic to stir up further racial tension. Anyone with half a brain cell can see that. The sensitive subject of his latest weapon against Muslims makes it even more sickening. If He genuinely cared about the subject matter as a whole then he should have been at all the other pedo cases to stick it to all the other sick individuals at their cases no matter the colour or creed. How about turning up at the case of his associate from his EDL days to let him have it? He wouldn’t do that now would he. Wouldn’t benefit his agenda in any way shape or form.
As always, look at the bigger picture. Research research research. Then make your point. That way no one can use the words thick or racist in their responses.

I think most of us would agree that integration is a good thing for social cohesion regardless of where you originally come from, or what god you pray to.

Both Labour and Tory governments have talked about this but do precious little. In some case they are making it worse by encouraging faith schools. Social housing is another area where they are failing.

It cannot be healthy that we have neighbourhoods that are heavily populated by newcomers. I hear politicians talk about quotas for all sorts of areas of life but never about this.

Would it not make sense for local councils to have a policy that tries to disperse new arrivals more evenly instead of putting them on the same estate. I am not suggesting that we "kick people out of their home" but when a social housing property became available the council could take the opportunity ensure a reasonable balance of people is achieved.

I suppose this could be called racist but with a bit of common-sense you could start to balance out areas so they are more integrated over time.

My guess is that politicians are happy to demand quotas for universities, FTSE 100 companies, TV shows etc. but would be terrified to do this.

Growing up in an area where your neighbours are from the same place as you and you go to a local faith school is not healthy. Neither of these things are bad in themselves but together and you wonder just how much will those people know about this country and its culture.

If you're talking about whiteys then perhaps you are correct but much of the racial intolerance in this country emanates from the ethnic minorities many of whom are quite happy to admit that they hate each other.

I would admit I don't care much for other faiths and beliefs to be honest. That's clearly racist ?!
Why would I in their shoes care about mine.thats racist as well then.
The only cavatat being it isn't really mainstream for these islands.
Ironic considering what I post but that's it in a nutshell.
The failure of all this being the world is getting eminently smaller as population rises.
Once we understand and believe this it might start working globally.

The idea that a religion is a 'race' is daft beyond belief.
I would not encourage such stupid ideas.
I loathe religion and I'm not afraid to say so or accept a challenge to demonstrate how dumb it all is.
