I hope Roy goes with him being an ex England boss could help. He should just apologise and explain he lost his cool because of being repeatedly fouled, game footage should endorse that. He could get away with a fine and a suspended ban with a warning to his future conduct Stop with that common sense!

Also lets face it everyone loves a softly spoken old timer, he cuts a sympathetic figure.

He never got carded for the additional clapping so they can give him whatever they want. Yes he did. It was the second yellow. Anyway regardless of all this why hasn’t there been any action against Stephens for a two footed potentially career ending lunge on Townsend. Not even a foul. Surely that violent play comes within the ambit if the FA review panel!

Yep, opposition players know that if they foul him that will wind him up. Remember a game at the Den .Wilf was playing really well leading upto the game , Alan Dunne (technically a sh*t player) had a running battle with him and Zaha spent all of the game arguing with him, got talked out of the game and did very little. He was 19/20 then, 26 now, think it will always be his Achilles heel always and will stop him being a player for a top team.

Not cobblers. Why? Stephens should be retrospectively hauled over the coals. The tv showed that incident repeatedly - obviously wondering quite what AM was thinking about. It was a disgraceful two footed lunge.
