A mid-table finish. Playing the football I saw against West Brom each week with the personnel to deliver under RH. That would be really great. No fantasy passionless stadiums but Selhurst on a south London winters' night with the fans in full voice. The american experience will not work here.

I understood the funding for the stand was ring-fenced and thus of no impact. Also (while I don't fully understand them) I thought FFP rules may actually free up further funds given the increase in capital assets from infrastructure improvements? What might, of course, negatively impact on our transfer business is being relegated...

Certainly Steve Parish is on record as saying that, had we been relegated last season, it would have had no effect on the building plans. Unless he says otherwise, it's probably safe to assume that remains unchanged going forward.

Once he gets to two years left his value starts to fall. So everytime we can renew his contract and bump the length back up to 4-5 years to gives the club security in his value. A year in to a four year deal means we have likely 24 months before his value drops. Smart move is to keep getting him to resign. Not sure if what ‘PR’ we gain from it tho.

Of course amongst several of my long suffering Palace supporting drinking pals Dougie is often mentioned, talked about and discussed.
