Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

Of course these situations are increasing. The country is full of whatever gender these people are - plus loads of immigrants who don't like it. I doubt it's your average English guys attacking these people, don't you? We've been used to gays or whatever on TV for as long as we've basically had entertainment. African, Caribbean and Asian/Arab countries don't agree with it. Not that the BBC is going to say it, ever.
