But a lot of them may be of interest to the security services, if we could establish who they are. Again it is more than 1900

No, they already working for uber, tfl gave out 3000 unchecked uber licences a couple of years ago in London and have only managed to trace about 1200, its a race to the bottom i"m afraid! Who let uber in to London? David cameron CON mp, Boris Johnson CON mayor, and George six jobs CON chancellor osborne, all rewarded with hundreds of thousands of shares, nothing to see here!

The only reason I can think of why anyone would want these people to come - apart from because they really do fear for their lives if they don't - is because it then gives an excuse to demonise all migrants. So it's in the interests of anti-migrant agitators to have some of these people landing and to be able to make a fuss of that fact.

Can I assume you aren't a fan of the Tory party by any chance?

Perhaps, can"t blame them to be fair!

I think you can maple, although i don"t dislike boris as a person, i just don"t trust them to deliver for the working man/woman, dom rabbs idea last year being an example, the scary thing is that although we are as corrupt as anyone . and have a class system keeping people down and others up, depending where they were educated, people still want to come here! I have a feeling that all the bolt holes we imagine fleeing to for retirement, are all corrupt to, or unobtainable unless you are a multi millionaire or a professional (for usa or aus/new zealand), spain/portugal/france or Ireland seem to be my only options, but i fear bureaucracy that drives me mad is as bad in those countries to.

There's far more bureaucracy in all of those countries!

You are confusing legal and illegal migration. 1,900 people are not of interest to corporates.

I don't think I am, I'm not talking about the 1,900, I'm talking generally and in particular the building industry which is where many of them end up.

Semi skilled tradesmen were actively encouraged by the big companies to enter from the EU and once the semi skilled workers were in the country their unskilled labourer mates flooded in either legally or illegally. I could introduce you to 20 or so of my friends who all had successful businesses who were basically priced out of the market place by immigrants and illegals. The only winner out of this were the big employers as they got cheap sub-contract labour. Their profits got bigger whilst our labour force found it harder and harder to pick up work.

A common story I would hear on site would be that they could only match a Polish sub contractors crews pricing on a job if they ran it on a break even basis.

It's been a building industry problem in the UK for 20 plus years and the big companies have just got bigger and the smaller companies have died. Of course the big companies never saw it as a problem as they were busy rubbing their grubby hands together and counting the profits.

I am hoping that Brexit will help sort this out but I bet it will be fought tooth and nail by the Corporates because they know they will be out of pocket.

I would add, property is my game, I can't really comment on how immigration, legal or otherwise, affects other parts of the economy or job markets.

I am no fan of illegal immigrants and recognise that amongst them will be some spectacularly nasty people

But to indicate that big corporates welcome illegal immigration is just incredibly dumb.

Heaven forbid that anyone would try to rebut you but
Please show me where I have said big corporates welcome illegal immigration? I merely mentioned that we do not know who these people are. So it’s not me that is being dumb

So all illegal Uber drivers came over on dinghys and they all entered illegally? Some assumption

Believe me it is the looney left/pc brigade that try to thwart removing people, at every turn. I had a 40 year career witnessing it. With regard to lower wages, maybe, just maybe, mass EU migration has a lot to do with that
