As predicted some of the papers are now investigating the neighbours. There is some confusion over who called the police one report said the police received 3 separate complaints others that it was a husband and wife.

Tom Penn recorded and later sold / gave the story to the Guardian after being told by the police that there was no issue. He is now upset about the publicity he and his wife are getting. Well boo hoo you made a conscious decision to insert yourself into the political process so if the public has a right to know about BJ's personal life they certainly have a right to know about his accusers.

As I said the other day I don't blame anyone for calling the police or even recording it I do criticise them for involving the media after having been told by the police there was no problem.

Public interest innit. You are commenting aren’t you?

This needed bringing to public attention. The recording clearly is needed given Johnson’s supporters insinuations that all the witnesses are lying or overstating the facts. Oh boy, Trump had taught all parties well

I hope Penn got a big wadge, must have sold plenty of internet space for The Guardian

It's not relevant as the police said there was nothing to report and I would say the same thing if Corbyn had a domestic with his wife. I am more concerned about Johnson keeping his word on leaving in October and that is what I will hold him or Hunt to account for.

Kennedy was a womaniser so was Disraeli history doesn't judge them on their personal morals.

Show me a man who hasn't had a row with his other half and I'll show you a liar.

Or, in this case, other halves. As a matter of course. Because, in the words of the current other half, he is spoilt.

What's more newsworthy is that it has taken this long for Carrie Symonds to realise that he is 'spoilt' with 'no care for money' - the rest of us knew that all too well from his tenure as London Mayor e.g. Garden bridge project; super cycle highway that needed later digging up for pipe renewal despite him being previously advised etc.

Furthermore, what politically sensitive content was on HIS laptop that Boris enabled Carrie to more than likely access?

Does saying 'picanninies' with 'watermelon smiles' indicate a racist?

I should add, in fairness, that I am sure there are plenty of racist quotes from Labour MP's regarding Jewish people and I have strong doubts over Corbyn regarding this. However the quotes from BJ and others he has made are very worrying if he is to become PM.

No, true expression of thoughts that don't deliberately incite violence aren't worrying.

If you don't like Johnson then no one makes you vote for him.

I'll vote for him when we get a GE.

2004 - Allowed this to be published when he was editor of The Spectator - "The Scotch" as "a verminous race", adding: "It's time Hadrian's Wall was refortified.

"To pen them in a ghetto on the other side. I would go further. The nation deserves not merely isolation. But comprehensive extermination."

2018 - Regarding Muslim women - In the £275,000-a-year column he wrote it was "absolutely ridiculous" that "people should choose to go around looking like letter boxes".

2008 - allowed this to be published in The Spectator - 'Orientals ... have larger brains and higher IQ scores. Blacks are at the other pole.'

And your point is!
We look at your opinions as well.

Lets not forget that many who are complaining now about the morality of Boris Johnson on this forum will be voting for Jeremy Corbyn.

A man who has done for morality what North Korea did for weight gain.

The biological point of existence is to propagate your genes.

This being true I've never really thought that the term 'womeniser' made much sense as a negative term.

What is morally reprehensible on the other hand is denying or not supporting your progeny.

For once I tend to agree with you. What happens in private should stay there, unless someone gets hurt.

Johnson is already colourful enough for people to form an opinion. I just think it very sad that we have reached such a political low that someone as clearly unsuited to lead should be the front runner in a race to become our PM to be decided by a small group of unrepresentative electors.

This isn't British democracy at it's finest at a time when quality was never needed more.

For the avoidance of doubt any comments in response to a previous post are directed to its ideas and not at any, or all, posters personally.
