Not really, Stirlingsays.

There are weasels and cowards on both left and right - you are smart enough to understand that I think.

For a wannabe prime minister of this country to duck and chicken out from debates/questions/public speaking is scandalous for UK politics.

This is not a good sign in a leader, running and hiding instead of facing the tough issues head on like a man.

Gove addressed his coke use, and while I am no fan of his, he dealt with it like a grown up and moved on.

Johnson also happens to be full of s*** on GATT 24, implementation phases under no deal (there isnt one) and a whole host of things which should have tory wasps worried. The withdrawal agreement will not be reopened (particularly for someone with an utterly toxic relationship with the EU) and he has no viable solution for the Irish border.

GATT 24 lies:

[Link]

He is absolutely full of s***, has a history of lying and cheating, and is a piss poor leader to boot.

Boris Johnson will bring Corbyn into power before Christmas.

No way to talk about Corbyn.

If Corbyn has made it this far, he will contest the next election. If there was a viable alternative already with enough support Corbyn would be long gone by now.

It's an election I'm genuinely looking forward to.

I'm of the view that for Brexit to happen Johnson has to call an election straight away.

Pit his popularity against Corbyn's......As I enjoyed stating.....Old Corbyn is toast.

As long as Johnson can cut a deal with Farage.....which would be on the cards as they share the same purpose.

If the Tory membership vote Johnson into number ten......which is almost a certainty....I mean what Hunt is doing by carrying onto the vote is nothing but vanity at this point.

If the Tories elect Johnson then for the first time in a long time we will have a situation where both main parties will have leaders who properly reflect the most popular choices for leader from amongst their membership.

That's a very important victory for representative democracy and how leaders of parties should work.

Situations in representative democracy where elites are electing amongst themselves is never healthy and is more reflective of the EU than how our parties should work.

So Johnson v Corbyn....both memberships have their man.

Let's get it on!

Boris Johnson serves one singular purpose. Increasing power for Boris Johnson. When he was 4 years old he uttered he wanted to be king of the world.

He will fall in line with any and all policies and positions if it serves the above ultimate goal.

No Tory is going to willingly call an election because any deal with Farage is truly the beginning of the end of the Conservative and Unionist Party.

At this stage the political decision between Labour and Conservative is who do you want to kill least.

Here is my prediction, for what its worth:

1) Johnson will become PM and head to Brussels for talks
2) As the WA agreement is locked down he will get some asinine change to the political declaration
3) Parliament will shoot this down
4) He will keep up the no deal rhetoric and go cap in hand to the EU again - WA remains closed
5) Some neat trick/slight of hand May style to bring the vote back again, this time we have 2 weeks left
6) Once again its voted down
7) He then has to decide about trying to prorogue parliament

Thats as far as I have made it so far, as I dont know if hes bats*** and stupid enough to actually try that.

Smart money is on another extension tied to a vote of some kind.

Mainly with the 'blue rinsers'...aka, Tory women.....Cameron is largely their fault.

David Davies was more popular with the men and should have led the party.

Exciting times.

My money is on him calling an election but I could be wrong of course. Your predictions could be right.....what do I know, I only turn up for the jokes and biscuits.

Don't you need approval from a large percentage of MPs to call an early election?

I can't see the turkeys voting for Christmas
