Very true....yep, while Trump seems to inspire the wealthy to keep up investment in the US something is bound to dip at some stage......Never known the boom and bust cycle not to repeat.

What you would hope though is that its impact could never reach the scale of 2008......the bad loans regulations....which Bill Clinton seems to have escaped any significant blame for and the terrible lack of oversight by regulators doesn't fill me with much confidence.

But you would hope that all the main banks are far more resilient now.....Perhaps Tux will tell us.

Yes perhaps he will haha. Tux, What's your view of where the economy will be in a couple of years time? For Joe Public I mean, rather than those exempt from such problems.

These things go in cycles and wouldn't be surprised to see the wheels come off the economy over the next 1 or 2 years.

Under the Central Banking system, the average 'bust' historically is 7yrs.
This latest 'recovery' (pfft) has been 10yrs.

Debt levels are important as when any given economy (that's PEOPLE) can no longer support the banks leverage then the s*** generally hits the fan.

I know i waffle on but it's honestly for a reason

Buckle up.
Joe Public is always always the last to know..........that's how 'they' make their money. For the record, Deutsche Banks fall over the past few years mirrors Lehmans to a tee. Hmmm?
I've said it before but 'The Long Short' is a must watch for the everyone. Many clever clever fellas realising that this particular s*** couldn't go on forever and equally how the rating agencies, THE BLOODY RATING AGENCIES! went along with this bare-faced fraud!
Nobody went to jail. Perish the thought.

And despite their vast resources, mainstream media said nothing leading up to the 08/09 crash becaaaaaause..........that's not the way the game is played.

Still a good ti................

I'll have to watch that. Yes, it sounds like they're all pushing in the same direction and not one that particularly benefits the people. And do so until it all comes crashing down. I often hear it said that they privatise profits and socialise losses. That certainly seems to be what happened during the last banking crisis. So as you say, Joe Blow would likely be the last person to hear about it this time around too.

It looks like they even attempt to manipulate the precious metal markets [Link]

1. Yes you do, as everyone should.
2. They don't ''attempt'' to manipulate, they do manipulate and have done for years, the proof is there in black and white. A former employee of JPM has testified this fact yet diddly is ever mentioned on MSM. Filed under the stuff the 'plebs' don't need to know along with money laundering regarding Deutsche Bank, the largest laundering scheme ever in the EU. Still never mentioned by those who apparently have our best interests at heart?????

...........'cos that 'aint the way the game is played.
