Sky Arts last night devoted a whole evening to the film bringing together much of the original cast. Brilliant watching.

there is a good paperback(think its called ' your face here') that covers a dozen brit.cult films, Quadrophenia being one of them.

It’s a strange film, hallucinatory in parts. Occasionally it switches to black and white which some critics found very meaningful - the director, Lindsay Anderson, later said was because he’d run out of money.

Quadrophenia was for me always one of those "I can't believe you've never watched it" films. Then a friend lent me the DVD a year or so ago. Sorry, but I found it really boring.
