Most of us who voted to leave know exactly why. Despite all the heavily funded Remain propaganda and support from the media, Leavers still prevailed.

I totally disagree. The propaganda all came from the Leave campaigns. £350 million on a bus for instance. Their whole campaign was predicated on a lie. That the UK would be better off outside than in. It was skillfully done but it was a con trick, which is no way to serve the country.

Like many losers, you want to persist with some absurd excuses.
I become more sure that we made the right decisions with every week that passes.

I am not making excuses. I didn't believe we should hold a referendum so there is nothing to excuse. The result wasn't lost, it was first stolen and then given away by the ineptitude of Corbyn. You remain as convinced as you wish. The long game is now in play, and patience is the watch now.

As for Trump. Given the amount of anti Trump propaganda in every area of the media and the deliberate stiring of civil unrest, it would be truely miraculous if he won a second term.
It remains a sad situation when the Trumps of this world can become POTUS simply because the other side is so corrupt and is happy to see its European population rapidly replaced and its way of life contaminated in the meantime.

Propaganda isn't needed with Trump. He provides more than enough evidence every week for his own condemnation. The only one stirring up civil unrest is Trump with his encouragement of white supremacists. Something you seem to have some sympathy with. /b]

Did you actually read the story?

His reputation for even-handedness is well established, although he is not someone I have ever encountered, so hardly a hero. He did a foolish thing, admitted it and has accepted the punishment.

Contrast this with Trump himself who never admits a mistake and always attacks those who accuse him.

Just because Trump doesn't trust people who ask awkward questions doesn't mean he isn't suitable to moderate a debate. You need someone with some strength who is not going to be bullied.

I did read the story. It was a bit of light relief in these times. You need an unbiased person, to be as objective as possible, to moderate a political debate, otherwise there isn't a fair debate.

I used to put the manager's name in front of Red and Blue but got fed up with changing it. If someone cool becomes our manager then maybe..

I am subscribed to more Trump-supporting groups than opposing ones. I can see for myself why to oppose him, but trying to understand why people support him needs research. Sharing opinions is always a healthy aspect of democracy but that isn't the issue. It's the deliberate spread of misinformation which is and I only see that on the Trump sites, often as a consequence of his lies. Most of the stuff on the opposing sites are pointing out the lies. So I notice all right, but I suspect they get past you.

It would be hard to get past me, seeing as there is absolutely no way I would subscribe to any Trump supporting sites. You really are barking up the wrong tree with me. I'm not walking around with a MAGA hat or wearing 'don't tread on me' t-shirts. I don't own a Confederate flag. I had some tiresome similar vitreol yesterday. That's not me at all.
One of my main concerns is the fascination with Trump. I'd rather we sort our own pressing, even urgent, societal and political issues. The US is such fun though - I can understand people's interest.
My step son, who has a disability, is fascinated by America. I hear the silliest pro-Trump guff and Q-anon stuff everyday. It doesn't stop me wondering where this wider anti agenda comes from though. From what I see, all social media, nearly all media, all tech are rabidly anti Trump. So are you - I'm just not quite seeing why he's the target for all this hate.
He's not any worse than nearly all the sh1tty brain dead US President's. There's been a long line of them as long as I can remember. Bush invaded countries for no real reason, yet did not face the abuse that Trump does. Obama got some limited Healthcare, failed to stop rendition and killed Osama in another sovereign state. He continuously caused collateral damage. His main claim to fame is skin colour. Yet he is wonderful - according to you and many others.
Surely, that raises a couple of doubts about the narrative in a mind as inquisitive as your's? Or perhaps not, you seem quite convinced already.

If that is accepting the result, I would hate to read your diatribe if you hadnít accepted it.
Just admit you will never accept it. As a matter of interest how much did Cameron spend on pro-remain leaflets, which were full of lies (imo)?

It's called being caught with your pants down. Bang to rights: actually hilarious that you will support this but condemn as untrue anything you don't agree with. You have made me laugh though, so thanks for that.
I hope everyone can see the comic value of this whole story.
Being called out on what you clearly are, and then inventing lies, getting caught again and having to apologise in order to save your ass, is hardly behaviour to be condoned. Why not just admit 'I can't be a moderator as I don't like Trump'?. That would have made him a hero in your book wouldn't it?

Yup but you forget "Trump tells lies" Biden & Co "make mistakes."

Really then why did the courts not throw the result out. Why have all of the major parties accepted the result even if they wanted a 2nd referendum they said. the public didn't know what this meant when they voted not that the vote was a fix.

I can't think of one party that has said the referendum was a fraud neither has the Electoral Commission which was stuffed full of Remainers at the time.

Which, by general previous consensus, he is. Which is why he was chosen by the independent commission responsible for running the debates.

Which Trump now, in completely predictable fashion, now attacks as being biased.

Oh it was done legally, via Parliamentary approval. That's not disputed. It was the events leading up to that which demonstrated the weakness of both Cameron in calling for one, Parliament for failing to do their democratic duty and reject the result, May for not responding to the advice of the security services, and Corbyn for putting personal ambition above the country. They failed us.

You know how the members of the Electoral Commission voted do you? How?

Accepting the result and accepting the outcome are different things.

Too much now on Brexit. Also too many ad hominems.

I am beginning to think you are actually a Watford supporter the way you like to play the man and not the ball.
