Do you actually think that restrictions will make a difference to the spread? There is nothing in the statistics that suggest that from previous waves. I posted significant governmental statistics on how covid has gone earlier.....it's like no one's opinion actually relates to them.

What gets me with this crises is that seemingly intelligent people actually think...actually think that an airborne virus's spread can be controlled by national policy. For me it's incredulous.....you would need a highly socially cohesive society, something that this country hasn't been for many decades now. You'd need a society that essentially acted like ants....and even then it probably couldn't be done without significantly low people density and without massive economic impact. All that has happened is that the virus did what it was going to do anyway and the hubris of people who should know better threw away a generation's wealth.
