Who’s hedging their bets by playing both arguments? Commentators or politicians?

I agree the sooner we get back the less the long term damage but also the more the virus moves from one carrier to two, over and over again without a strategy or kit to deal with it. We’ve already seen Western Europe without a plan, I don’t think that bodes well for another cross our fingers and hope not to die.

If my understanding is correct, China Airways fly between Gatwick and Taipei.

I am led to believe that as of 1 April, the North terminal will be closed and all flights will operate to/from the South terminal.In general terms,gargantuan problems for the airline industry and associated businesses.

Pictures from around the world don't lie, but this article from a retired Professor of Pathology and NHS Consultant from the Spectator makes for interesting reading. I've copied a couple of paragraphs from towards the end of the article to give a taste of what it's about.
