An ingredient of Tonic....

...are you thinking what I'm thinking?

True leadership, balls and ethics.

"Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish says all employees will receive full pay during the coronavirus outbreak.

Premier League football has been postponed until the weekend of 4 April.

Parish said in a club statement that staff would not be placed on statutory sick pay "for health issues relating to Covid-19".

He also promised that matchday staff who have lost work because of the suspension of the league will not be "disadvantaged financially".

The Premier League is scheduled to meet on Thursday to discuss the next steps in response to the virus outbreak, which has claimed the lives of 71 people in the UK."

Somebody mentioned this to me last night. There are a lot of rumours though, so let's not get our hopes up.
I have heard reports that a particular Japanese anti-viral drug was very effective in China. But yet to be validated also.

Drugs normally take around 10 years to get from testing, development to final production to the public.
Talk of vaccines in weeks are very premature, although development is significantly quicker.

A lot of people still remember the Thalidomide scandal, and some victims are still paying the price.
Else the anti-malarial drug DDT, which is all around the globe.

One day you may admit that you do not know everything about everything until then I suppose you will continue to spout s***.
Are you really saying that BF could get away with doing something illegal even in the present circumstances? FFS HR lawyers would be rubbing their hands together.
"where would the people be taken, see my answer above" What answer?
Where have I said they are not following guidance? I stated there was a risk to them.
Where did I say thet were at more risk than other front line workers? Your slant not mine.
Enough of this. I can't be bothered arguing with someone who either lives in a bubble or is just a troll. I suspect (although I am sure you will deny it) that you have had problems with the HO/Immigration regarding family memnbers and you have no time what so ever for them.

This drug is well old so might be the answer.
No testing required as readily available.
Let's hope it's at least a start point.

That's interesting....is it wet this time of year there?

With lower standard of living countries there will be a lot of inter generational abodes.

If the weather doesn't make a difference it makes things pretty bad......I guess we might as well lock the oldies away and just get on with it.

As you’ve already said, I can see this happening at some point anyway. The consequences of the level of government borrowing is probably going to force it, low interest rates or not.
