I'm sure if it was checked there would be a post by you shouting about body bags coming home with our boys in them. How would getting out be done. Its the corbyn types who pursued soldiers for shooting the enemy which in turn let the terrorists go free. You are a corbyn fan so you are really part of the problem!

Corbyn routinely took part in 'Stop the War' protests, which began in 2001 and carried on ad infinitum. A perennial cry of those protests was for "the immediate withdrawal of all our troops from Afghanistan"

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)

In that case, his position has been vindicated, hasn't it?

From Vietnam to the present, with a few exceptions, the prosecution of war by the USA and UK has been totally counter-productive, leaving us in our present weakened and insecure state.

Starmer routinely seeks popularity but is often caught out. The man shows no leadership whatsoever and should do us all a favour and resign. What are his policies going forward??

Kabul evacuation is a truly sad, shocking affair.
Lisa Nandy thinks, alarmingly, that we should remain after 31/08/21 to complete the evacuation, which is clearly impossible without US in lead role and meanwhile, leader of opposition, who routinely criticizing all and sundry, goes on HOLIDAY!!

To be honest, I haven't heard Starmer comment on anything recently. His holiday snaps are more likely to get media coverage than anything this fraud might contribute.

Can't say I blame him on this one to be honest. It's not something he can influence at all and this is going to turn into one car crash that even the most ardent of rubberneckers won't want to watch.

Classic Starmer today in Parliament

Boris makes his statement about the tax changes and even admits that it was a broken manifesto pledge ,but know expected a Pandemic.

First thing from Starmer ...you guessed it
'You have broken a manifesto pledge'.

Surely he could have moved on without accusing Boris of doing what Boris had already admitted to.But maybe he has to follow his pre written script whatever else is said

Come the election people won't care about a manifesto pledge, they will likely care that someone has finally grasped the social care nettle.

It is at the moment a diagnosis lottery which is grossly unfair.

More money will be needed and has to come from somewhere.

I believe there are substantial productivity savings to be made in the NHS, as an example employing diversity officers at three times the cost of a nurse is not a good use of money IMHO.

Problem being multi layered management for arse covering but as soon as its looked at to be streamlined the BMA have a march around Russel Square complaining about what they haven't got. Frontline staff are needed, not more pen pushing luvvies. If the NHS screw up, pay the compo and move on. That will save an absolute mint.

Inept and unlikeable, in comparison to Boris who is inept yet relatively likeable.

I used to put the manager's name in front of Red and Blue but got fed up with changing it. If someone cool becomes our manager then maybe..

Red and Blue Army!

It's distressing when you see reports of massive over payment for basic things like A4 paper.

A procurement shake up would be a good start.

And the senior management salaries are eye watering.

The constant stream of medical negligence claims and systemic issues at hospitals are a scandal.

The NHS has become untouchable when it is incompetent, IMO.

Reminds me of the USD20 screws the USAF used to procure, and the USD 10,000 toilet seat covers.

Starmer. Invisible and painfully quiet.

And yes, he's on holiday. But is there any change in his output ?
