Why have 'regulars' at all, have a different lot each week, and let them say something too. Have guest slots, like Eddie Izard proposed by Palace, that sort of thing. I won't remember anything that deposed lot ever said tbh, and I definitely don't think of punditry as being anything other than a hopefully interesting addition to a once-only event. Not an everlasting career thank you very much. The one pundit I really enjoy is Merson, mainly because I am convinced he is tanked up, and Kamara who is fun.

I am disappointed at seeing these guys leave. But I am more concerned at who they will be replaced with. These former womens players annoy the hell out of me. What do they know about that level football ? Womens pro teams get beaten by boys teams. If he leaves Middlesborough at any point, would love to see Neil Warnock on it. He has great when he was on it last season. Especially when he said the kit man was ahead of Sorloth in selection.

Mind you, I wouldn't argue with your postman's chiropodist. They've not put a foot wrong for years.

It is NOT a question of whom I do NOT wish to appear on the show, it is the fact that experienced and insightful pundits have been jettisoned for reasons which many believe to be true. Apropos your accusation about "Patronising" those who really know me would conclude that I am far from patronising, furthermore I really do not believe my style of writing enters this category. You have formed your conclusions and expressed your opinion and whilst I respect it, I am an disagreement with it on this matter.
