Put it this way: you'd be first in the incinerator.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

The kneeling is in support of blm.
Look into what they want then ask if you are kneeling for what you think is ok.
If it was to kneel against racism I doubt any comment on here would be negative. Just from that alone it must make you ask a question. Unless of course you agree with blm and their objectives; which is your choice totally.
Or you think the negative posters are all racist!

And as I said on the BBS the other day, people need to realise the difference between Black Lives Matter the organisation and black lives matter the movement. The organisation is the one which is run by Marxists which I’m geuessing is why so many people on here are against them but the movement is separate. The movement is simply people wanting equality by raising the point that they are against racism. The movement was there before the organisation. As articles say, taking the knee is in support of the MOVEMENT, so the premier league and its players are trying to raise the point that they are against racism by taking the knee

So change the movement name and call out the remainder for what it is, as you yourself have written. I dont doubt it started with all the best intentions and ideals but has been hijacked. As I wrote I would doubt many on here are for racism. When the blm has two divisions within itself why would I support it when one is good and one is bad.
Football was doing a good job with kick it out, but that never gets a mention now. That is so sad with the efforts that have gone into that. Why cant the movement join with kick it out for example. Now that might get more support without the radical input. Kneeling was and always has been an action taken by the serfs and the like. What good is that when its equality that wants to be shown.

The BLM movement needs to break away from the Marxist movement it sadly represents.
With the same name people will generally associate the two.
Call it something else and make it very public.
It would garner more support and get more respect.

Kick it out is already there and well supported. The world of sport needed only to get behind that banner rather than pander to an organisation that has Marxist policies and some pretty nasty people fronting it.

Thing is, I’m not really sure sport needed to get behind anything.

I literally have no idea how someone being killed in America should affect sport in the UK

I agree, am I really supposed to care that much about George Floyd? The racism is and always has been far more localised and small scale in the UK than in the USA. Plus we don't have guns.
I'm not saying there is no racism in the UK or in Ireland, there is. However, it is not systematic nor a big problem. We have bigger problems affecting minorities, that would help them in real terms, if we could get past the constant need to find racism in every detail. We should address the real issues that BLM is cloaking.
Look at South London, what's the bigger problem? Gangs and crime, or racism? Poverty and lack of education, or racism? Black and white people are being hoodwinked if they think George Floyd is an issue for much concern from us. Perhaps, if I were right wing, I could ask why aren't Americans taking a knee for Mark Rattana, Emily Jones or Kriss Donald - even Steven Lawrence? Short answer is they don't give a f€ck and why should we? Larger forces at stake here that I'm not sure we can stop.
I don't notice the kneeling anymore but, for the record, I don't support it.

The kneeling is for the ‘No Room for Racism’ movement, they distanced from BLM many weeks ago

I wonder what reason we can find not to support it now.
