Have a go though, genuinely interested in your answer

You want me to speak with authority on something I'm not qualified to answer? On the internet? No thanks.

But I don't believe being able to jump/run is mutually exclusive to having intelligence and business acumen.

Where did I mention supremacy? It's an awful example and your brain went there. Why? I later followed up with my pride of a multicultural England team. That includes the white players.

I didn’t say you did mention it, if you had read my post I asked IF there had been a poster of all the white players, with the slogan white supremacy. What would your view be?
As You had produced a poster of all black players with the BLM slogan.
I would hope any British football fan is proud of the team’s success and in particular for Palace fans as the manager came through our Academy, I just understand why you felt the need to post what you did

Whataboutery.

And I posted it because it's a particularly powerful image, given the current situation with the England players taking the knee for racial equality and I'm very proud of being a black Englishman. I thought blacks being proud of being part of this nation, was a big positive, no?

Nope. Very weird analogy too.

If I was alive in '66 I'd be proud of the team, because I was born in England. However, I'm more proud of this current set of players because of how diverse and multicultural the team is and that someone like me (Raheem Sterling for example, being of Jamaican heritage) is driving England towards a major tournament win.

If I was alive during the times of slavery, I'd probably be a slave.

Didn’t ask you to speak with authority, just your own opinion.

If you don’t want to answer, that’s cool

Really?

That's some change considering months ago on here you directly stated, 'what is English anyway', directly arguing against the idea of the English ethnicity.....which, by the way, is officially recognised.

Yep. It’s good to be proud of your heritage and your roots. But not to think it makes you better than anyone else.

And that’s still a genuine question - it means so many different things to many different people. To me, this England team are the embodiment of the modern day England that I know and love - a mix of people from different backgrounds coming together to be successful. You can see just how much they all get on as well and that’s always been my experience growing up with people different to me.

If you had your way then very few of the squad would even exist let alone be eligible to play for England.

I don't know how you get that.

However sure, I'd certainly have more ethnically English actually playing for the English team.

As Trevor Noah said, Africa won the world cup, not France.

As for 'if you had your way'. I think I've made it clear that it's way way too late for people like me to 'have their way'. In my view thinking in those terms is unrealistic.

The English signed their own death warrant back in the fifties and sixties....by the mid seventies it was already too late. The English created the modern world and then meekly allowed their own elites to kill them off for profit and Disney land concepts.

And if I’d been alive then I’d have had to survive an infant mortality rate of 30% and had a life expectancy of 40 after working in a factory for 12/14 hours a day. Not many had a good time back then.

You want European only immigration from a select few countries. That means that half our squads’ parents would never have been allowed to come here. So they either wouldn’t exist as their parents would never have met or they wouldn’t have been allowed to set foot in this country.

I doubt it. You would probably have been a slave trader with your accumin. More blacks sold slaves than whites!
That's aside of the white slaves who are never mentioned; traded by non whites BTW but that's not important is it!
