I have been watching Oxford Union presentations as a way to gain insight on the background to the Ukraine crisis. As the audience consists of young people from all over the world who will be the movers and shakers of tomorrow, these presentations are important. They come from the heart of those who care and want their audience to know the unvarnished truth. Whilst doing this I stumbled over a presentation made in November 2016 by Tony Schwartz, who ghost-wrote "The Art of the Deal". This was a short time before Trump took office, but what he reveals is really very prescient. Everything we came to recognise in Trump is there, laid out by someone who observed him closely for years. If you have some time, and a desire to understand why there was an imperative to see him removed, and want a break from Ukraine, take a look. It still has relevance:-

If you watch the video I linked to, you will understand why people felt they had to do that. The guy even forecasted how Trump would behave when he lost, with unbelievable accuracy.

It's recently been confirmed in even Democratic media that Hunter Biden's laptop and its contents are real. Now lets rewind to how the Democratic media and social media giants treated commentary on the Hunter Biden laptop before the 2020 election. Biden's media team called it 'Russian disinformation'.....their favourite go to description of anything negative to them. Here is a link to the Democrat's lies and behaviour regarding this laptop. The Democratic media largely refused to cover it and if it was forced onto them took the Democrat's line. Polls have since revealed that if voters had known about the laptops contents they wouldn't have voted Biden into office. Twitter and Facebook suspended the New York Post for covering the story. Twitter and Facebook blocked and suspended users who even mentioned it. The truth was closed down.....that is not the fourth estate....When the truth is denied by your media that is not a democracy. And let's not forget that these same biased Democratic corporates banned Trump while Iran's president could continue on saying what he wanted. Biden took away their energy independence, wrecked their economy and his perceived weaknesses has most probably contributed to Putin deciding that now was the time to invade Ukraine. Perhaps with Trump we wouldn't now be looking at cold war 2 with the increased personal risk of death on our doorstep. As I and many predicted he's been a disaster. Whether, or not, you like Biden there is one fundamental truth that everyone ignores in all of this mud slinging. Hunter Biden is NOT the President. He has never run for office, and has no political power. At worst, he is an embarrassment for his father. If he has committed crimes, then let them be prosecuted and the appropriate remedies found. That the right tried, and continue, to tarnish Joe Biden with this, was what, quite correctly, encouraged the MSM not to give it coverage. Obtaining a laptop the way they did and splashing the contents around was despicable behaviour. It's hardly surprising that the idea this was a disinformation effort was made, as it exactly fits previous patterns. If that was untrue, then OK, it was untrue, but that does nothing to change the fact that the campaign to smear Joe Biden was unacceptable. Okay just ignore that the mainstream media failed to investigate this properly whilst they were all over Trump and his relatives. You say Hunter Biden had no influence then why was he courted and money thrown at him? Why would you do that unless you believe that through him you could gain influence. When a laptop mysteriously turns up in a bookshop miles away without any obvious reason, my instinct would be to mistrust it and concentrate on the known facts, ie the "turning up" and not the contents, which seem dubious. That people target a family member who is known to have frailties says more about the mindsets of those doing it than it does about those on the receiving end. All I have ever observed from Joe Biden on this has been embarrassment. Obviously, I don't know any better than you, but it seems illogical that he would encourage job offers to his son that would likely result in this. This is all just Trumpian froth designed to take the focus off of his involvement in the Jan 6th riot and try to establish equivalence. It's really unimportant. I have never had any special regard for Biden. I just have a special loathing for a situation which allows someone like Trump into the WH. Biden, as a way to repair that, was a lifeline back to normality. There are many decent Republicans with high standards and ethics. I have nothing but admiration for them. One of them, Arnold Schwarzenegger, is doing his best to try to assist over Ukraine, which seems a much more positive use of time than slinging mud at Biden. Ok, reality check for WE. While I agree that children who aren't politically involved should be off limits the reality is that during Trump's tenure the Democrats didn't do that. The Democratic media attacked all of Trump's children whether they were politically appointed or not. The only ones left alone where those that were anti Trump....which they of course used politically. So to play this nonsense of Biden's children shouldn't be under fire is double standards to a huge degree. Also, as Badger says, Hunter Biden was in Ukraine working in a position that he had no experience in just because he was Biden's son....Biden said he hadn't met those connected to Hunter....which turned out to be another lie that the Democratic media wouldn't expose. This guy will lie for his political side and make excuses for their lies...all the while he he criticised Trump for being a liar...which he is. Projection in action. Trump's children, whether political appointees or not, with the exception of Barron who is too young, have all been active cheer leaders for him, speaking at rallies and making pronouncements. They courted attention, with Trump's encouragement. There aren't any who are "anti-Trump". Would they dare be? That's quite different to the situation with the Bidens. I have no doubt Hunter Biden got his job because of who his father is. That though isn't the point, unless Joe fixed it for him, and there's no suggestion of that. That Hunter exploited it also seems to be true, but from what I remember, Joe was somewhat duped into it at a family gathering and got pretty angry about the shenanigans. This isn't reality. It is chalk and cheese. Molehills and mountains. It's the right clutching at straws.
