Looking through the personal laptop of a private individual with the sole purpose of making political capital out of it is no better than the gutter press searching through the dustbins of the rich and famous. Wrong doing, if discovered by anyone, needs to be reported to the authorities so that appropriate remedies be sought. Not splashed over Fox News and Infowars. Schwarzenegger is an anti Trumper, he has no influence in the Republican party anymore. There's a kind of hypocrisy where we ban Russia media yet complain that we can't get western messages into Russia. Hypocrisy is a genuine problem within the modern west. It wasn't always like that. I was raised to view honesty, even if it doesn't benefit you, as the intrinsically correct behaviour....it won't always be possible of course but it should be regarded as important. In my family that was a religious cultural afterglow from part of my family being Melodists. I'm repelled by those willing to continually lie for their cause....those like you who believe the ends justify the means. Who apparently think virtue can be reached any which way.

I agree that our response in banning RT and withdrawing some activities in Russia appears counterproductive and rushed. Being honest is always a virtue, but there are occasions when being economical with the truth, or telling a white lie, is the pragmatic route to a bigger truth. Every parent understands that. Being at war amplifies the need for that. Determining where the balance lies is a challenge that lasts a lifetime.
