I tend to agree with you, Teddy.
However, in contrast, it seems his latest role is understated.

What I would say to you is that an individuals character extends beyond your pointless hatred of them. I don't need to entirely understand or be aligned with Eddie Izzards take on gender to also, for instance, appreciate the charity work he's doing; currently 31 marathons in 31 days, raising money for the likes of Walking With the Wounded (charity to help injured former British Armed Forces servicemen and women). If he was as closed off to others as you clearly are I don't suppose he would've bothered.

He was talking about the lack of comment from the left wing contingent.
The 21st century really is turning out to be the century of double standards so far. Well at least, where all those who consider themselves on the left side of the imaginary line are concerned.

I don't like Eddie Izzard's political views and I view his attitude towards child transgenderism as dangerous and negative for society.

This isn't a comment upon his intent, which I'm sure is well meaning, I though view it as misguided.....and the amount of charity work someone does isn't exactly a guarantee on a character as we have unfortunately discovered in recent years. However, in his case I think he's genuine.

In terms of his talent as a comedian personally I think it's evident by his bank account and I think he's inventive and talented.

Still, in terms of his political activism and what he represents as messaging to children I see him as a net negative.

However, I also commented - albeit whether or not I class as left wing is moot.
