I look forward to Labour implementing their illegal migration policy. Every thing I have seen so far tells me it will not work as all they are doing is the same as the Tories (minus Rwanda). Lots of guff about smashing the criminal gangs with an enhanced border force (just re branding) and closer co-operation with the French. The Tories have tried all this stuff to varying degrees of success. Then there is the policy of setting up asylum centres outside the UK. If you are an illegal and know you would not be granted asylum why would you bother? You would still try and enter this country by whatever means you can. Unless of course Labour decide that most asylum claims are valid in which case the boat crossings will stop. Not sure the public will be happy with that though. My opinion on this
1) There will be yet another amnesty( but it won’t be called that) and the numbers awaiting a decision will plummet. None will be removed and the looney lefties will cry “ see we told you they were all genuine “
2) Will never get cooperation from the French, nothing to do with Brexit, they never have cooperated
3) They will bother, when word gets out that if you apply you will be granted a visa whether you are genuine or not. Lo and behold Labour have stopped illegal migration and the boats will vanish. I also suspect these visas will be gratis, as were the EU Family permits. If you are British and want to bring a spouse here, you pay through the nose

Sunak should have bought in the military to fly them to Rwanda months ago from some base the public can’t access then he would still be PM.
