I think Tony Parsons made an astute observation when he said that 'Johnson has been lucky with his enemies'.

Very astute.

This isn't about Labour in 1979 at all, it is the unwinding of the dysfunctional Thatcherite model, driven by credit, consumption and property prices.

She viewed railways with horror they needed investment.

For her it was class, assets as it is now, not productivity, hard work and enterprise, high quality work places.

That poster, 'The UK isn't working' is more appropriate now after 12 years of tory misrule, than it ever was.

Britain, post-brexit, is a failure, until we face it it will only get worse.

Failure indeed Steeleye, but how can people admit they were had? Some people in the street i have chatted to are presumbing i voted leave-although i didnt actually vote - and tell me "we" made a mistake! I don"t bother telling them they are being a bit presumptuou in the "we", but do see the pain on their face as they realise they were had, I think its going to take a lot more pain for the masses to admit they were had, but they know it, you know it, and I know it!
