Very sensible view on Mateta I think it is early days. I would much prefer to see Mateta leading the line for Palace.
Remember we signed Benteke what was it £27 million plus salary of £5m and in four seasons with Palace he scores 29 Premier League goals per goal £1.62m.

Let us see what Mateta can do give the man a chance.

They did indeed, BUT, the loan for the players concerned had either finished or were terminated, thus allowing the player to go on loan to another club.

A player can go on multiple loans throughout a season, several of our players have over seasons gone by. NO loanee club can re-loan same player to any other club, till excisting loan is eith finished or terminated.

Wasn't there an obligation to buy built in to the loan agreement? Or does it only apply if he plays in a certain number of games?
