Since we got promoted all our managers have had to turn things around in a short space of time.
Each one has had a different way of wanting to play. So we have lost our identity, now it seems that we are going to have to go for another manager who will be just to put out fires rather than have a longer term plan.
If the shortlist is to be believed then how can you have Dyche and Lampard and everyone in between on the list when their methods are chalk and cheese.
Surely we should have a way of playing and choose a manger that fits that way so that we dont end up with players in the squad getting paid vast amounts of money and using up squad places that are not in the current managers plans.

I suspect SP agrees with you. These names are just managers who may be available and the media suggesting they’re in the frame. The only 2 we know about for sure are Nuno and Favre. That suggests he wants someone who will play a more attacking game with greater possession and the ability to integrate younger players from the academy.

I can’t see SP panicking and appointing anyone just for the sake of it. If necessary he’ll ask DF to cover until he finds the right person. He has stated he wants the next manager to build for the future using the academy. Don’t be surprised if there’s an announcement that DF is taking temporary charge.
