Southampton were far superior in terms of the way they moved the ball and their movement. We looked as though our training is concentrated on getting in shape without the ball and precious little training on what to do when we gain possession.A turgid and torrid mess.

I'm afraid our squad is in holiday mode. Survival secured, the majority of this lot don't care about the result. The majority know they'll be playing for the club next season as management rewards them based on loyalty rather than performance. With both our U/23's and U/18's having promising seasons maybe we can hang on to a few of these youngsters and bring them through. Then again if RH is in charge, forget it.

It wouldn't be quite so bad if we did not keep giving the ball away - it's been our trademark all season. The manager has been with us long enough to make best use of his aging and limited squad but he seems to have given up and sits on his chair looking 10 years older than his true age. He is pathetic and it shows in the team. A major change over the summer otherwise we will be sleep-walking into the Championship where historically we belong.

Christ that was dull. A brief spark then lots of huffing and puffing. No plan B as usual.

And for some weird reasons, some fans (cant be many left) still want Roy in charge next season.. if so follow please where Roy goes!! Originally posted by redshift
At least we don't need to bother suffering the last 3 games. The only question is how many teams leap frog over us in the table. I'd guess we have a better than average chance of ending up in 16th place. That's going to hurt the old wallet for next year.

Well that’s another one to add to Hodgson list 159 games played 53 wins. If fans were allowed into stadiums do you honestly think that Palace fans would put up with this crap week in week out. Hodgson has the cheek to say that the shackles can be released, no the shackles are still on and then he has the cheek to tell Parish that the club need to invest heavily to avoid a relegation fight next season yes Parish needs to bring in fresh faces but the direction will still be the same with Hodgson at the helm.

Did you not hear him use the F word after he was booked. Why did no one "do" a hard tackle on Prowse!! You would have got my Man of the match.. they bottled it!! Originally posted by sprites
Also on another note, Wilf Zaha...absolutely ineffective all game again. Total tosh. And just got a yellow card for lashing out, because someone dared defend strongly against him. Get rid.

As soon as I saw the lineup I feared the worst. Ayew cannot play in the same starting 11 if Benteke is playing, it doesn’t work! How many games does it take for the penny to drop. He isn’t comfortable out wide and if he plays up top it leaves us too short in the middle, please Roy don’t do this again I’m getting sick of repeat mistakes.

Or have people like you lauding over him. It's been 11 years. We are starting to go backwards. It's because of his ego that anyone with enough money won't come in for us, because he wants to stay in the limelight and be centre stage. And as for staying in the Premier league, how have we benefitted from it ? How's the new stand coming on ? That's all pi55 and wind as well. If he really wanted it, it would be under way. Nearly all other clubs have just got on with it. Funny how we appear to have all these problems (or convenient). As for getting to a cup final, even Wigan and Wimbledon have done that, and won it. And we're financially stable because we've spent sod all recently and sold Wan-Bissaka.
