Not true at all.

As there is no conflict in being both British and in favour of the EU, nor is there anything wrong in demonstrating that.

Should the Scots, Welsh or Cornish not wave their flags? They feel dual loyalties.

Kinhell! So if you get locked in the tower for waving a flag of a club you have been a member of for the past 40 years, how would you deal with the government carving up 14 Billion among themselves and their friends , that was destined for the nhs? Land of dope and tory! (Nothing personal ghost-just had to throw it in!)

Don't have a problem with Brits being pro EU but to do the flag waving so blatently in public like that leaves a nasty taste. For avoidance of doubt I don't like to see any flag being used to score a political point but this just really hacked me off.

I know it's not personal it is only words over a messageboard so don't worry about offending me

Would you describe the EU as a club? It's a far bigger institution and I would never say I was a member of that or anything political.

Then that's your personal opinion and your problem to overcome. It's neither against the law, nor offends most people.

Better flag waving than gun waving, don't you think? Peaceful protest is to be encouraged.

I wouldn't call it a problem to overcome as it's not an everyday occurance thankfully. Nothing wrong with peaceful protest although I think it's mostly a waste of time and it gets ignored and becomes a problem when protestors are blocking the streets and roads like those idiots on the M25.

The best way to protest is to do what Marcus Rashford did via social media as that appeared to actually work.

They are on Parliament Sq. every day, along with a load of other nutters.

They like shouting Tory Scum at people walking past on their way to work at 7am. It's probably a fair assumption that the people working in that part of London are more likely to be Tory remainers. It doesn't do them any favours.

Remain or Leave doesn't matter those people at 7am are going to work to earn a living, as for the scum how come they can afford to protest every day?

Pushing people into poverty is economically illiterate.

We should not be doing this in 2021 with its history of failure, what is the economy for if not our people.

One thing we could actually do is re-direct QE to poorer families, giving them money to spend and stimulating demand, Keynesian theory.

QE has not been causing inflation this time.

Forget high wages, it means rising inflation prices and therefore uncompetitive, unless you could make huge productivity gains at which I'm afraid we are spectacularly bad.

The biggest problem we have is not being in the single market imo, we are no longer competitive with europe.

Maintaining an empirical fantasy in the South China Sea, ill-thought out projects like HS2, corruption, still lords and ladies and serfs, and brexit itself which is clearly going to be ruinous.

Looking at Tony Robinson re-visiting Suez last night I was struck how similar the circumstances are now.

In that case the economy could no longer bear the cost of the war, but we haven't really learnt its lesson well enough.

A Prime Minister, Eden, vain and totally uncomprehending of the real world situation, blustering and deceiving everybody, who does he remind you of?

Do you work for a living? Asking for a friend .

Jackson.. Wan Bissaka.... Sansom.. Nicholas.. Cannon.. Cahill.... Zaha... Thomas.. Byrne... Holton.. Rogers.. that should do it..

Depends on what, but many are, in Jim Royle's memorable quip, "not worth the steam off my p*ss".

Those who put their own interests first because they feared UKIP, failed to do their primary duty of using their conscience to determine the best interests of their constituents, if they believed leaving was a mistake. Many come in this spineless category.

People like Jacob Rees-Mogg, Bill Cash, Mark Francois, Priti Patel, Suella Braverman, etc etc ought to be locked in the Tower until convicted as traitors.

That's a no then!
