It isn't, look at the flag next to my name and then look at yours.

You have no loyalty to the British and so your words on our politics are no more relevant than what any other outsider thinks.

So perhaps it's you who are the CON.

The CONS today put out a message that a first time buyer could save £12000 buying a new house with a 10% mortgage, Chris Philp, my very own mp, was on tv at the time. Martyn Lewis, worked out to save that amount the first time buyers place would have to cost £500,000, and the mortgage would be £28,000 per annum- although the CONS figures mentioned them earning £30,000 per annum! So, £2,000 to live on all year- less tax , expenses , heating, fuel, food and holiday! Poor Chris, who has being cosying up to lizzy drop drawers recently- had nowhere to go, and the rumours are, lizzy and the chancellor are ready to chuck him under the bus!

Why are you bothered. You’ve got at least two properties. How about donate one to your local council as a gift to help a poor family. You don’t need it. Your a tradesman; get out to work and pay some tax to help all the poor people get their benefits which they all deserve. I reckon if your mob get in you are fecked matey. But let’s see once it comes on top. Either your charitable rental rates will change or you will take the hit yourself. I know where my fivers at !

I've heard this kind of ridiculous comment before.

We are talking about government policy that will help to alleviate hardship for all. These petty, individual snipes are irrelevant. It's policy that will make a difference, as well you know.

Government do feck all....they are just another class with their hand in the till taking from the taxpayer...present and future.

It's both ethically indefensible and financial suicide to bill the unborn generations...kicking the disaster can down the road....but hey, no one gives a feck because common sense died with previous generations.

No idea Teddy, but the thing is, I have the choice to live and work in any,and at the same price as my GB passport. It"s a no brainer- anyone who would turn down the choice of staying in one place, or having freedom of movement- would only be sacrificing their life choices- but not everyone had the chance- I did, and took it with open arms!

This has been discussed ad infinitum. But anyway here goes.......again.

The original concept of FOM was a good one. All of the members of the EU had similar standards of living and thus very few took up the option to " live and work" in a different EU country. Mostly, this was used by companies asking workers to temporarily relocate.

Then the EU was expanded dramatically and those new members had vastly inferior standards of living to the original member states. Thus those people all wanted to move for a better life. (I don't blame them, I blame the EU and Tony (stupid) Blair).

The EU introduced an exemption to restrict FOM. The UK was the ONLY major EU country NOT to invoke it. Thus the above people only had one place to go.

The exemption allowed for an initial three year period, then another two and finally another two making seven in total. Guess who took up the whole seven? Yep Germany! Incidentally, polish people need a work permit to work in Germany. It was a clause added for their support for Poland to join. Everyone is equal eh!!!

The new tory gov asked the EU if we could join the exemption and we were told NO. (Stupid decision by the EU which added fuel to the fire in the uk and thus led to the out vote).

Finally, you can still go and work in those places if there is a need. You just need to get a job and a work permit.

Just as it should be.
