I might as well get this in before some of the usual suspects! Yes, the cost of living is rocketing, some might say unfairly, but think of the shareholders! Also, we live in a democracy and if can"t make the rent, get another job, or two, or three! Life is getting very hard under these CONS, but we have democracy, and we voted for them! (I obviously didn"t, but you know who you are!). So suck it in people, load up your credit card to the max, just to survive, do not critic the government, sure they lie every day, and not just bungle, the whole cabinet, pretty Priti is getting good at it lately, but we expect it from them! And remember, bungle is a laugh, we would love to have a pint with him, if we could afford it, so who wants to moan about the cost of living? Sure you could lose your house, not make rent and be homeless, but look on the bright side, you won"t have to worry about council tax-which is going up again-win win!

Didn't have him down as a Tory I must say

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

No, not him, but the majority on here perhaps? Life is going to, and already, getting very hard for more than the people at the bottom, the people on top have never had it so good, so when are the people in the middle going to admit it"s not working and blame the people in charge? This war isn"t helping but these cost of living charges were on the increase, including fuel, before the war. The war is just a handy distraction for bungle and his cronies. Oh well, its just the kids inheritance that"s going to give i guess, lets hope they have the correct school tie and prosper!

Labour would have locked down even harder and longer than the Tories.....and they would have done exactly the same on Russia as the Tories as well.

So what you're saying about the cost of living doesn't have a leg to stand on. It would be even slightly worse because they would have spent even more.

Abbott would have sorted this and still had time to find matching shoes. Nothing could possibly have gone wrong.

It would have been like a 'carry on' movie, just with no birds worth shagging in it.

Nothing to do with labour stirls, the people in charge for the past 12 years have to take the blame, until they do, and the people forget about blaming anyone but the CONS, we are all in for a rough ride, and nobody, not even jeremy corbyn, would have had the gaul to nick so much out of the pot. Oh well, lets keep heads firmly buried in the sand, its only money after all!

I was always Labour in the UK and proud of it. Wouldn't vote Labour since Blair. It's not Labour anymore, more clown world.
My view of the Tories is basically old school tie and I wouldn't vote for them either. As for Liberals - choose a side pussies. So basically, I was left with no real party to vote for.
Occasionally I vote for entertaining candidates. I voted for The Ice Man, for example. He did headstands in a bucket of ice for long periods in the high St. Dedication I thought.
To be fair to Britain, services were far superior. To be fair to Ireland living standards are far higher. Perhaps more safe but there's actually loads of burglaries etc. Cheaper in the UK than Ireland but probably, over all, you can have a better life in Ireland - just don't get sick or old. Tax is f***ing f***ed up too.

You hit the problem square on the head. f*** the kids inheritance. I won't get much and never got much help. Why worry about helping the chavvies have an easy life. Feck em. I will stand in the way of a bullet for all my kin but will not live like a pauper so they don't have to or MAY have to. Help when and where you can but don't be a martyr to the cause. Brutal but hey I've got alife to live and whatever is left they're welcome to.
You don't have kids so why the che attitude ?

Abbott as Hattie Jacques, Corbyn as Sid James, or Kenneth Williams? Starmer surely Bresslaw. Not a buxom blond in sight. I still watch Carry On - and still laugh out loud.

Diesel currently 2.10 in Ireland! A few miles to work in traffic is a tenner. I pay 3 a day for the bus - my missus has the car. I'll just finish the dinner and mop the floor then get back to you. Better change my apron or I'm for it.

Far be it from me to defend the Blair-like champagne socialist party that is the modern Tories.

I'm just saying that the alternative wasn't worth a cold yank on a wet Wednesday either.
