Is it just me ? I think Gordon is very overvalued . I think he is a very average player in a very bad team . I would have snapped their hand off at 40 mill . My Everton pal was laughing when he heard the news that it was turned down and said hes not worth 25 mill .

If Werner struggled for goals, I'm not sure Gordon will do any better

Think your right but this whole window we have seen a number of valuations that are difficult to understand . The two at Watford, are well over valued , the Forest deal for a Wolves player untried comes to mind, even Gallagher, if 35million is true is debatable. The trouble being owners with more money than proven sense, if they pay then that’s the market rate

I think the market rate is more related to what most would pay....because you are always going to have the odd customer go way over or way under....but what the majority would pay should surely qualify more. Just my two pennies.
