I’m now going to have to reconsider my support for this young man. He sounds English after being born in Johannesburg so I might give him a pass, and he doesn’t start crying like Judy Murray, I mean Andy Murray the puppet. If he starts draping himself in Scottish and Welsh flags from the crowd then meh. I expect it so may as well ignore him now. What I’d love is a modern day English version of John Mac. Yep, the LTA would fix all his junior results so he fails.

Special award for the most obnoxious semi-finalist ever - Nick Kyrgios. He just cannot shut his foul mouth. Be OK if he was funny but he's not. 50% objectionable git, 50% thug.
I have now sufficient funds to last me the rest of my life. Provided I don't buy anything. |

Nadal played through pain to beat Fritz in a stunning 5 setter last evening. But is the old boy going to be fit for his semi against Kyrgios tomorrow? I certainly hope so. It promises to be one heck of a match, because for all his bad boy stuff, Kyrgios is playing wonderful tennis right now.
Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled. |
