I hope Jake O'Brien stays and gets bench time/comes on. He looks a real prospect. Agreed. As the season approaches he seems to be one of the few academy players now still in the reckoning for some time on the field in the friendlies.

Been with the U21's in their US tournament, doubt very much if we see him V's Lyon next week either.

If we think next season is when he is going to hit the ground running at top level then maybe an older striker who knows where the back of the net is on a seasons loan may not be a bad shout for us right now.
