It seems like half of Europe's top clubs show an interest in Zaha, but that seems to be all. Think most clubs know he is top notch when he's at his best, but those days seem long gone. 30 plus, worryingly injury prone, too selfish and simply not the same Wilf we knew 3-4 years ago.

Should we read anything into the massive Zaha mural they are painting at the top of the Holmesdale? Looks like it will be finished before Sunday, but feels a bit tragic if its unveiled just as he decides to up and off to Saudi! Edited by MrRobbo (24 May 2023 12.33pm)

Just thinking back.....I wonder if Zaha never decided to play for the Ivory coast and held on would he have gotten his big move? The likes of Grealish, Rice decided not to be Irish international at a critical time and have gone on to be england internationals and 100 million pound players.

"Anyone else seen the Zaha mural that has gone up on corner of park and holmesdale Road?? I was just thinking to myself that would be slightly odd were he to leave end of season? I’m assuming this is past week or so? I can’t recall seeing it but I am the type to walk past 900 times completely oblivious and all over social media." No insight offered as of yet!

I'm sure if means nothing but would be a bit embarrassing if he left. Jsut imagine he ended up at Brighton and we have to walk past that every game!

Well deserved to have the mural whether he stays or not. Thinking back to when he broke into the team until now, in my lifetime no player has given me more highs in the stands than Zaha for Palace. He and Jimmy Mac no doubt will get a terrific send off on Sunday. Two great performers for our club in different ways. This is the first summer I can think of where Zaha leaving doesn’t give me the feeling of impending relegation, so good timing for him and us if he chooses elsewhere

Last sentence makes you think : Has made a decision not to stay , informed Steve , but not accepted an offer just yet Has decided to move out & secretly not told Steve - Sutton Utd has made a deal worth it Yet it seems strange he would not have informed Steve yet either way.

I have a good feeling it will be announced at game tomorrow that Zaha stays. Roy said earlier that Zaha won’t be fit till pre season training starts.

Simply not Palais style. However, I expect that mural will be enough to keep Wilf on a more realistic salary and more in line with club policy.
