I have a 'Feeling in my water' that supporters won't have to wait long to find out if Mr Hodgson will be our manager next season.

Brighton a team who has been in this league less time has embarrassed us in every department look how much better they are.

SP does a lot of fancy talking but its all sales pitches and controlled questions/discussion.

You seem consumed with envy, that someone can be successful.
You highlight Brighton, who for the first season for a long time will finish above us, there are plenty of other teams promoted, since we were promoted that have failed and are languishing in the championship or League One.

If it's true that Paddy Mccarthy is being groomed to take over from Roy in a year's time then as usual Steve's lack of ambition & desire to do everything on the cheap is alive and kicking.
Soon be another transfer window starting to showcase his customary amateur cluelessness.

This is our TENTH season in the PL and it will be our ELEVENTH next campaign.
Bringing back Mr Hodgson was also a master stroke.
With the greatest of respect, one cannot place Steve Parish in the category labelled "Clueless".

Who said that McCarthy is being groomed to take over, apart from social media speculation, certainly no announcement from the club.
Do you know how much it costs to run the Academy, it certainly isnt cheap.

I do not recognise the aforementioned scenario.
Certainly has proved to be thought provoking with some deeming that such a scenario is plausible.

If we were an established championship club, I would say go ahead, let Roy train P{addy up.. you have time to build something and cash in on the youth... in the prem a whole other story.

We just had an iconic player with no prem or real top flight managerial success flop at palace, to recreate that with Paddy would be crazy.

My best bet, send Paddy out to manage for a couple of years elsewhere and when the time is right for both parties, it may work out... but we need an experienced manager that is able to play to our strengths.

No more projects please.

Just ask Eze who he wants. He's the jewel in the crown and if he's happy with Roy then that's enough for me.
We can't fill a team with £100m players but we potentially have one who we need to keep him for as long as possible and build a team around him.

Agree. Although would add Guehi and Olise to that list. They're our gold trifecta.

With the final game on Sunday, is anyone of the opinion that both Mr Hodgson and Steve Parish have NOT had dialogue about the managerial position beyond the end of this season ?

On Saturday, I overheard some chap with a loud voice opine that they "Both know the score" and were waiting for an opportune time to make an announcement !

There are those who might be concluding that the conversations have gallivanted down a different 'Alley' as results have unfolded.
I suspect all will be revealed sooner rather than later !
